WaxBall Privacy Policy
Effective: July 25, 2026 · Last updated: July 25, 2026
WaxBall (the “App”) respects your privacy. The App has no sign-up or login, and the developer does not directly collect information that personally identifies you. For ads and payments, the third-party services below process some information.
1. Information the developer collects directly
None. We do not collect or store personally identifying information such as your name, email, phone number, or precise location. Your game progress (free plays, owned items, records) is stored only on your device and is not sent to any server.
2. Data handled by third parties
- Google AdMob (ads) — may process, to serve/measure ads and prevent fraud: advertising identifier (Advertising ID/IDFA), IP address, device & OS info, ad-interaction and app-usage data, and approximate location from IP. Google Privacy Policy · How Google uses data
- Google Play Billing / Apple In-App Purchase — processes purchase records to complete purchases. Payment details are handled by the store, not the App, and are not shared with the developer.
3. Purposes & legal bases (GDPR)
- Personalized ads: your consent (a consent screen is shown in the EEA/UK/Switzerland).
- Non-personalized ads, core features, fraud prevention: our legitimate interest in providing the service.
- Payments: performance of the purchase contract.
4. Ads & consent management
The App shows ads. On iOS it requests App Tracking Transparency (ATT) permission; in Europe it shows a GDPR consent screen. You may decline and still play normally, in which case non-personalized ads are shown. Buying “Remove Ads” or the “Premium Pack” removes the banner and ordinary-ball ads.
5. Data retention
The developer stores no user data on any server (device-local only). Data processed by third parties (Google/Apple) is retained per their policies.
6. International transfers
In the course of Google/Apple ad and payment processing, data may be processed on servers outside your country, under appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
7. Your rights
- EEA/UK: rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object, and withdraw consent, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. You can change consent anytime in the app’s privacy settings.
- US (e.g., California): rights to know, delete, and opt out of the “sale/sharing” of personal information (for personalized ads). Opt out via the consent screen or your device settings.
- Advertising identifier: reset your advertising ID or opt out of personalized ads in your device settings (Google Ads settings).
8. Security
Because the developer stores no personal data on a server, exposure risk is minimized. Third-party services apply their own security measures.
9. Children’s privacy
The App is not primarily directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their personal information. If we learn a child’s data was collected, we delete it promptly. Parents with concerns may contact us below.
10. Changes
This policy may be updated for legal or service changes; updates are posted here with an effective date.
